TikTok is not only a great platform for dance moves but cleaning hacks too. Across the world, millions of people are looking for new and inventive ways to keep their homes spotless and a recent user shared her way of getting crease-free bed sheets without the hassle of ironing.
Chantel Mila, also known as mama_mila on the platform boasts 423,300 followers and has 6.5million likes.
She loves to clean, style and share her DIY tips and tricks.
In a recent video, she shared three inexpensive hacks to make your bed cosy.
The first clip saw her mattress bare of any sheets, duvet or pillows and she excessively sprinkled bicarbonate of soda across it.
She told fans: “Deodorise your mattress with bicarb soda, lavender oil and vacuum after 30 minutes.”
Bicarb is a super-effective but gentle abrasive and great natural deodoriser, perfect to instantly refresh a mattress that can be difficult to clean.
Chantel then revealed her top tip for making bed sheets softer.
She was seen swapping the fabric conditioner for white vinegar in her washing machine before putting a load on.

White vinegar is a great natural softer without any chemicals.
It also prevents static, which means that lint, pet or human hair is less likely to get attached.
As for what Chantel does when the sheets are clean and dry, she manages to avoid ironing them with a clever trick.
The Melbourne mum of two layers a top sheet over the bottom sheet on the mattress and before tucking it in, she sprays tap water onto the sheet.
With the sheet now slightly damp, she smooths the fabric before tucking it in tightly under the mattress.
To complete the bed, Chantel suggests placing pillows into a tumble drying to make them extra fluffy.
However, when washing and drying anything down-filled, such as duvets or bed pillows, they can become lumpy and misshapen.
To avoid this, Chantel advises adding a tennis ball into the drum and pillows only need to be warmed through for five minutes.
Chantel also has a great tip for those who struggle to put a duvet cover onto their duvet.
“Lay quilt cover inside out and lay [duvet] on top,” she tells fans.
The TikTok star then demonstrated rolling the two together towards the base of the bed.
She then flipped the cover of the end so it faced the correct way and fastened the end.
Within seconds of unrolling the duvet, the bed was made with perfect corners.
