The pandemic has catalyzed new ways of working, leading companies to turn to new hires with skills that can help them to weather change and uncertainty.
For example, remote working formats have drawn many HR heads toward candidates who are more tech-savvy and can communicate clearly over virtual platforms.
The skillsets that hiring managers are looking for right now go beyond the technical skills needed to complete a task. In fact, many HR leaders told Insider that they're looking for soft skills like adaptability and the ability to learn from past experiences.
